Angus is Special Counsel with Fee Langstone. Angus is an experienced commercial litigator having practised as a solicitor in New Zealand and the United Kingdom since 2001 (joining Fee Langstone’s predecessor firm, Jones Fee, in 2014).
Angus has a broad commercial litigation and insurance practice with particular expertise in liability and professional indemnity claims and professional disciplinary complaints (including barristers and solicitors, accountants, auditors, and other professionals), directors and officers liability insurance, fidelity claims, complex policy coverage advice and general insurance related issues. Angus also has extensive litigation experience in a wide range of areas including partnership disputes, shareholder/director disputes, civil fraud and financial services. Angus has represented clients in the District Court, High Court and Court of Appeal and in mediations and arbitrations.
Angus has a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Canterbury and is also admitted as a solicitor in the Senior Courts of England and Wales.
