Imogen graduated in 2015 from the University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Art History and Politics. In 2016, she first joined Fee Langstone and acted on professional negligence claims, disciplinary complaints against professionals, statutory liability prosecutions and general civil litigation work, including several major defamation cases.
She also worked in Fee Langstone's cyber insurance practice and was seconded to the Clyde & Co cybersecurity and incident response team in Sydney. She has also been seconded twice to insurance companies, giving her valuable insight into industry practice.
Prior to joining Fee Langstone, Imogen worked at a boutique commercial law firm specialising in government and economic regulation, corporate governance and telecommunications, media and technology, including for international clients. In 2019, she left Fee Langstone to work at a law firm specialising in the health sector. There, she acted for DHB’s, ACC, regulatory authorities and insurers, and assisted in prosecuting and defending health practitioners in disciplinary proceedings.
Fee Langstone was delighted to welcome Imogen back in 2020 after her OE plans were cut short by the pandemic.
Imogen has a passion for art and wrote her law honours dissertation on the rights of artists when their work is re-sold. At university, she worked as a research assistant for the Art History department, tracing ownership of art and fine objects from the Stuart period in England and translating French texts.
In her free time, Imogen plays indoor netball and enjoys hiking. In recent years, she has volunteered at the Auckland Community Law Centre and at Tiritiri Matangi bird sanctuary.
