/How long have you been practising law, and how long have you been with Fee Langstone?
I started my legal career in employment law, working in the dispute resolution team of a large employment relations firm. I joined Fee Langstone in 2022.
If you weren’t a lawyer, what do you think you’d be doing?
I have a great interest in economics and probably would have built a career within the commercial sector or government.
What do you think sets Fee Langstone apart from other firms?
As a specialist firm, we have many advantages – abundant resources, a big team, and invaluable expertise. More than anything, we have great relationships with our clients. Fee Langstone people are as grounded and personal as you can get. The partners are really humble – sometimes you can forget you’re speaking to a leading legal professional!
What makes insurance law different from other areas of practice?
Of course there are the technical components of indemnity and general insurance advice which are specific to our industry but insurance law is actually one of the broadest litigation areas you can practice in. As we act for both insurers and their insured clients, Fee Langstone lawyers get to work on a vast range of matters. This could include contractual disputes, negligence cases, professional misconduct cases and regulatory actions.
What are three things still left on your bucket list?
Watch an English Premier League game live, watch a World Cup game live, visit India to see where my ancestors came from.
If you could have any superpower what would it be and why?
Superhuman intelligence! Can’t think of anything more powerful than that.
What’s your favourite music? What’s your go-to karaoke song?
I grew up on hip-hop and R&B – so anything Biggie Smalls!
If you could have dinner with anyone in the world, who would you choose?
Neil deGrasse Tyson – dinner with an astrophysicist and science communicator could not get boring.
